- Our AI structures documents using WHS regulation frameworks and high-risk-work phrasing, cites each control to its source, and keeps a full audit trail. As with any SWMS, a competent person must review and customise it for your specific site before use.
- How do I know the content is actually correct?
- Every control is grounded in a curated WHS knowledge base and cited to the regulation or standard — with the date it was current. A citation-integrity check blocks any fabricated reference before you ever see it, and weak grounding is flagged for human review.
- Can I brand it with my logo and colours?
- Yes — upload your logo and set your brand colour once in Settings, and they appear on every SWMS document — on-screen, PDF and Word — on the QR sign-on poster, and on the SWMS workers read when they scan to sign on. Custom branding is included on every paid plan (PAYG, Solo, Pro and Site); free SWMS carry a small “Made with SWMSBuilder” footer.
- Can I verify a subcontractor's ABN?
- Yes — search by business name or ABN and we confirm the legal entity and registration status live against the Australian Business Register, without leaving SWMSBuilder. The verified ABN is stamped onto each published SWMS with the date it was checked, and your saved contractors are re-checked automatically every week so a cancelled ABN never slips through. Contractor management is included on the Pro and Site plans.
- Do my workers need an account to sign on?
- No. Workers scan a QR code and sign on from their phone — no app, no login. Each sign-on is recorded with a timestamp, IP and the document version they signed.
- Can I customise the controls and risk ratings?
- Yes. Every task, hazard, control and risk rating is fully editable, and you can duplicate any SWMS for a new job — the tasks, controls and citations carry over, so you only update the site details.
- What happens when regulations change?
- We track our sources, date every citation, and flag stale content for review — so the system is never confidently out of date. Published SWMS are version-pinned for reproducibility.
